Baseball Recap: Coshocton Comes Up Short

Coshocton fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against New Lexington on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 5-4. The Redskins were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 20-9.

Coshocton moved to 10-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for New Lexington, their record is now 8-9.

The Generals will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Redskins surely won't give up without a fight. As for New Lexington, they will be playing at home against River View at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
