 Wiregrass is 1-9 against Evangel Christian since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Friday. The Wiregrass Kings will head out on the road to  square off against  the Evangel Christian Lightning at 4:30  p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a seven-game winning streak alive.

 The team  relied heavily on  KC GABLES, who  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, five  RBI,  and two  runs.  TREY HOPE was another key contributor,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  RBI.
 Wiregrass' win was  their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-1. They've been dominating during the  matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 10.8 runs.
