Basketball Recap: Verbena Takes a Loss

Verbena lost against Autaugaville back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Verbena Red Devils received a blow as they fell 44-26 to the Autaugaville Eagles. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Verbena's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-7. As for Autaugaville, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Autaugaville beat Verbena by a score of 44-26 later that day.
