Basketball Game Preview: St. Louis Park Orioles vs. Chanhassen Storm

The St. Louis Park Orioles will head out to challenge the Chanhassen Storm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Louis Park has now lost 13 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 11.

Last Tuesday, St. Louis Park had to suffer through a 77-37 loss at the hands of Chaska. While losing is never fun, the Orioles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Hawks are ranked 32nd).

Meanwhile, Chanhassen lost to Orono on the road by a 80-65 margin on Tuesday. The Storm have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

St. Louis Park's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Chanhassen, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

St. Louis Park took a serious blow against Chanhassen in their previous matchup back in January, falling 72-32. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point St. Louis Park was down 42-20.
