Basketball Recap: Boswell Comes Up Short

Boswell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 40-24 fall against the Clayton Bulldogs. The Scorpions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 44-39.

Boswell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Clayton, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boswell will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Coleman at 6:30 p.m. on January 28th. As for Clayton, they are taking a road trip to square off against Bennington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
