The Bluffton Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Adams Central Flying Jets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Bluffton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
Adams Central will be up against a hot Bluffton team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Tigers walked away with a 9-6 win over New Haven on Saturday.

Kamryn Ault spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tressa Renner, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Addison Kauffman, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI.
Bluffton hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Haven struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, Adams Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Angola on Saturday, taking the game 13-9.
Adams Central got a massive performance out of Baylee Smith, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs Smith has posted since back in May of 2024. Lillee Dull also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Bluffton pushed their record up to 11-13 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Adams Central, their record now sits at 3-13.
Adams Central's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bluffton has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.1 hits per game. It's a different story for Adams Central, though, as they've been averaging 13.3 hits. Given Bluffton's sizable advantage in that area, the Flying Jets will need to find a way to close that gap.
Bluffton skirted past Adams Central 6-5 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
