Basketball Recap: Anderson Skates Past Harrison with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Anderson). They claimed a resounding 71-42 win over the Harrison Wildcats. With that victory, the Raptors brought their scoring average up to 52.1 points per game.

Toby Strausbaugh had a dynamite game for Anderson, going 11 for 16 on his way to 25 points and seven rebounds. Those 25 points gave Strausbaugh a new career-high. Antwoine Higgins was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine boards.

Anderson picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Harrison, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Anderson will venture away from home to square off against Milford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Milford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.8 points per game this season. As for Harrison, they will square off against Taylor at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Taylor will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Harrison surely won't give up without a fight.
