Soccer Recap: Pershing County Takes a Loss

Pershing County lost against Yerington back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 5-3 to the Lions.

Lexie Portillo and Nayeli Acosta scored all three of Pershing County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Pershing County's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-3. As for Yerington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pershing County will face off against rival Whittell at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Yerington is set to take on their familiar foe White Pine at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
