Softball Game Preview: Monroe Central Seminoles vs. Barnesville Shamrocks

The Monroe Central Seminoles will challenge the Barnesville Shamrocks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Monroe Central blew River out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday River got their revenge. The Seminoles fell just short of the Pilots by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Seminoles have suffered against the Pilots since April 14, 2021.

Jauna McElroy made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Jadyn Miller was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one triple.
