Cornerstone Christian was the 82-56 winner over Walsh Jesuit when they last played one another back in December of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Cornerstone Christian Patriots fell to the Walsh Jesuit Warriors 57-52. The Patriots' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Walsh Jesuit to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kara Esterak, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine assists. Those nine assists gave Esterak a new career-high. Kami Digennaro was another key player, putting up 14 points and four steals.

Cornerstone Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Walsh Jesuit, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Cornerstone Christian and Walsh Jesuit should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Cornerstone Christian (ranked 234th) will meet Independence (ranked 480th) at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Walsh Jesuit will square off against Hawken at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 449 places (294 vs. 743).
