Baseball Recap: Windsor Victorious

Windsor won the last time they faced Herculaneum and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Owls came out on top against the Black Cats by a score of 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Owls.

The team relied heavily on Cole Scott, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Windsor is 4-1 when Scott posts one or more home runs, but 4-12 otherwise. Nate Estopare was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Windsor lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Windsor's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Herculaneum, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Coming up, Windsor will host DeSoto at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Herculaneum, they will head out on the road to face off against Fredericktown at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
