Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Conneaut). They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Jefferson Area Falcons 2-1. Austin Brown had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Conneaut.

Conneaut's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-12-2. As for Jefferson Area, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-14-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conneaut will host Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson Area, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
