Baseball Recap: Henry Ford Academy Takes a Loss

If Henry Ford Academy was riding high fresh off their 17-9 takedown of River Rouge on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Navigators fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 15-14 on Wednesday. The Navigators were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 17-9.

Kobe White was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with eight stolen bases and three runs. He has been hot for a while, having posted two or more stolen bases the last 11 times he's played. Kaiden Lynn was another key player, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with five stolen bases and two runs.

Henry Ford Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for River Rouge, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Coming up, Henry Ford Academy will take on Trillium Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
