Soccer Recap: Los Osos Comes Up Short

Los Osos managed to keep up with Chino Hills until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Los Osos Grizzlies lost 3-0 to the Chino Hills Huskies. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 344th, while the Huskies are ranked 27th).

This is the second loss in a row for Los Osos and nudges their season record down to 3-5-3. As for Chino Hills, they pushed their record up to 9-1-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Los Osos will host Upland at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Upland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season. As for Chino Hills, they will head out to face off against Damien at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
