Softball Recap: Lebanon Trail Takes a Loss

After flying high against Liberty last Tuesday, Lebanon Trail came back down to earth. The Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers fell just short of the Frisco Raccoons by a score of 4-2 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Trail Blazers have suffered against the Raccoons since April 16, 2021.

Kendall Dreary was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3. Valentina Quinones also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Lebanon Trail's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3-1. As for Frisco, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lebanon Trail will face off against Emerson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lebanon Trail's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Emerson's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Frisco, they will take on Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
