Basketball Recap: Jamarious Britt's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Howell Central over Hickman

Howell Central had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 89-76 to the Hickman Kewpies on Monday.

Howell Central lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jamarious Britt, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Halterman, who posted 16 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

The win made it two in a row for Hickman and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Howell Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 75-56 victory against Troy-Buchanan on the 4th. As for Hickman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-48 win against Holt on the 4th.
