Basketball Recap: West Ranch Comes Up Short

West Ranch lost against Bishop Montgomery back in December of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The West Ranch Wildcats took a 55-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Montgomery Knights. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

West Ranch now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Bishop Montgomery, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

West Ranch will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against St. Paul at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop Montgomery, they will take on Paraclete in a tournament on Thursday. Bishop Montgomery knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Paraclete likes a good challenge.
