Basketball Recap: Missisquoi Valley Takes a Loss

Missisquoi Valley lost against Vergennes back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds fell to the Vergennes Commodores 49-43. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Missisquoi Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Vergennes, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Missisquoi Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-40 loss against Milton on the 22nd. As for Vergennes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-45 win against Mt. Abraham on the 21st.
