Soccer Game Preview: Erie vs. Boulder

The Erie Tigers will challenge the Boulder Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Boulder better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Erie really gets things going. Erie never let Frederick get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Boulder narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Horizon 1-0. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won seven in a row.

Boulder's one-goal win came courtesy of Zoe Silver, which was the first she's scored this season.

Boulder's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Erie, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-0.
