Basketball Recap: Redland Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Redland Christian Academy lost against Somerset College Prepartory Academy South back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The FALCONS had to suffer through a 79-48 loss at the hands of the Patriots. The FALCONS were down 64-39 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Mario Barrios was a one-man wrecking crew For Somerset College Prepartory Academy South. as he shot 52% from the field en route to 34 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Emmanuel Negron - Alvarado, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Redland Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Somerset College Prepartory Academy South, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Redland Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against Basilica at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Somerset College Prepartory Academy South, they will host Pinecrest Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
