Emma Simms made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-3.

Trinity Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Montverde Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2.
