Biggs found a leader in Gracie Sheppard as the squad took down Maxwell on Tuesday. Sheppard wasn't messing around, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. The pitching appearance was her fifth straight with seven or more strikeouts.

Sheppard's strong effort led Biggs over Maxwell and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
