Softball Recap: Rise Kohyang Takes a Loss

Rise Kohyang was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 22-2 to the Animo De La Hoya Boxers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Boxers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-2 back in March.

Rise Kohyang's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Animo De La Hoya, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Rise Kohyang will be playing at home against Smidt Tech at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tritons will need to watch out since the Grey Wolves have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Animo De La Hoya, they will venture away from home to square off against Los Angeles Leadership Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.67 runs per game on average), something the Boxers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
