Softball Recap: Napoleon Finishes Even with Northview

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Friday. Neither Napoleon nor Northview could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 tie. Napoleon's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Arianna Kiessling (Jr) spent all 11 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up 14 Ks. Those 14 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

Napoleon's draw makes their record 3-3-1 this season. As for Northview, they moved theirs to 4-2-1.
