Baseball Recap: Interstate 35 Takes a Loss

Interstate 35 fell victim to Des Moines Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Lions. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Roadrunners were not able to get on the board.

Interstate 35's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. As for Des Moines Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Interstate 35 will take on rival Van Meter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Des Moines Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe Woodward-Granger at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
