Baseball Recap: Sylacauga Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shelby County, Sylacauga was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Fayetteville Wolves. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Aggies have posted since March 25th.

Sylacauga's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-17. As for Fayetteville, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-10.

Sylacauga didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Leeds on the 15th. As for Fayetteville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-5 loss against Reeltown on the 14th.
