Kuna faced Owyhee in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Kuna fell 7-3 to Owyhee. The Kavemen's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Kuna saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Sperry, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Kuna's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Owyhee, their victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0.
