Basketball Game Preview: Gardiner Bruins vs. Shields Valley Rebels

Gardiner and Shields Valley are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Gardiner Bruins will welcome the Shields Valley Rebels at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Gardiner is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Gardiner ended up a good deal behind West Yellowstone and lost 63-48.

Meanwhile, Shields Valley lost to Sweet Grass County at home by a 64-49 margin on Saturday. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shields Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Gardiner, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Gardiner was able to grind out a solid win over Shields Valley when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 57-50. Will Gardiner repeat their success, or does Shields Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
