Byers is 8-1 against Myrtle since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Byers Lions will head out to square off against the Myrtle Hawks at 7:30 p.m. Byers is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Byers' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Myrtle, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Byers against Myrtle in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 76-20 victory. Will Byers repeat their success, or does Myrtle have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
