Baseball Recap: Bay Path RVT Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Bay Path RVT had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Leicester on Friday. The Minutemen blew past the Wolverines 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Minutemen, who have now won seven games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Bay Path RVT let Dale Nussey and Josh Hemingway run wild. Nussey got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs, while Hemingway went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most runs Nussey has posted since back in April. Hunter Davis was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Bay Path RVT has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Leicester, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-14.

Looking ahead, Bay Path RVT will welcome Westborough at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Leicester does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
