Softball Recap: Bearden Takes a Loss

Bearden was the 10-0 winner over West when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bearden Bulldogs fell just short of the West Rebels by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abby Thompson was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Bearden now has a losing record of 2-3. As for West, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bearden will venture away from home to square off against Farragut at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will take on William Blount at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
