Volleyball Recap: Monticello Comes Up Short

Monticello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bellevue Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

Monticello's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Bellevue, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

Monticello has already played their next match (against Maquoketa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bellevue, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Marquette on the 27th.
