Softball Recap: Walkersville Wins Going Away Against Perry Hall

On Saturday, everything went the Walkersville Lions's way against the Perry Hall Gators as the Walkersville Lions made off with an 8-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Lindsay Worley was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Joey Qualls, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

Walkersville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Perry Hall only posted an OBP of .350.

Walkersville's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Walkersville will challenge Oakdale on March 24th. As for Perry Hall, they will host Mount de Sales Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
