Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Takes a Loss

Shawnee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trico Pioneers.

Shawnee may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 11 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11.

Shawnee's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Trico, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Shawnee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Sparta on the 25th. As for Trico, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Steeleville on the 25th.
