Recap: Bethany Bronchos vs. Ardmore Tigers
In what's become a running theme this season, the Bethany Bronchos gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Ardmore 93-47 at home. Winning may never get old, but Bethany sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Bethany got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Keziah Lofton out in front who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Lofton is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 18 or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zya Vann, who scored 24 points along with four steals.
Bethany pushed their record up to 18-4 with that victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 49.7 points. As for Ardmore, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethany will take on Oklahoma Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethany knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully Oklahoma Christian likes a good challenge. As for Ardmore, they will be playing at home against Blanchard at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Ardmore is facing Blanchard at the right time seeing as Blanchard is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
