The Scripps Ranch Falcons will face off against the Madison Warhawks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Scripps Ranch is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Scripps Ranch got the win against University City by a conclusive 10-1.

Alina Grady made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (two).

In other batting news, Eme Ledbetter was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Sienna Cole was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Scripps Ranch was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Canyon Hills, falling 15-0.

Scripps Ranch has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
