Plainfield's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing six hits and five walks to lead the league in both categories. The Cardinals have given up a mere 112 hits on the year in addition to compiling 67 strikeouts.
Jeffry Rodriquez is the leader in that category with 33 Ks on the season.
The week's strikeout crown belonged to
Wil Medina, who turned in seven Ks for Plainfield. With 14 strikeouts this year so far, he ranks second in the league.
