Basketball Recap: Franklin Triumphs

Franklin won against Oil City on Friday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Knights walked away with a 65-52 victory over the Seneca Bobcats. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won six in a row.

Despite the loss, Seneca still got an impressive performance from Jason Jagta, who posted 13 points and four steals. Jagta is becoming a predictor of the Bobcats' success: when he posts at least three steals the team is 2-1 (and 2-10 when he doesn't). Dalton Boyd was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Franklin now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Seneca, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
