Baseball Game Preview: Everett Alvarez Eagles vs. Harbor Pirates

The Everett Alvarez Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Harbor Pirates at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Everett Alvarez is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Everett Alvarez didn't have quite enough to beat Alisal and fell 5-4.

Everett Alvarez saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Buddy Torres, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Harbor came out on top against Scotts Valley on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Pirates had just enough and edged out the Falcons 8-6.

Everett Alvarez's loss dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Harbor, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.

Everett Alvarez got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2018 against Harbor by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
