Soccer Game Preview: Garrett vs. Angola

Garrett hasn't had much luck against Angola recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Railroaders will take on the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. Garrett will be strutting in after a victory while Angola will be coming in after a defeat.

Garrett's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Columbia City. Garrett didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, Angola lost 7-2 to DeKalb on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Angola were already down 6-1.

Angola's loss dropped their record down to 5-10-1. As for Garrett, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.

Garrett suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Angola in their previous matchup back in September. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Railroaders were down 4-0.
