Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maryvale). They came out on top against the West Point Dragons by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win snapped Maryvale's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4-1 record. As for West Point, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6-1.

Maryvale will head out on the road to square off against Cesar Chavez at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th. As for West Point, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Camelback at 6:00 p.m.
