Baseball Recap: Howard Tech Takes a Loss

Howard Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-1 to the Van Buren County Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 on Thursday.

Howard Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Van Buren County, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Howard Tech will take on East Ridge at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Van Buren County, they will welcome Sale Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
