Volleyball Recap: Chester-Joplin-Inverness Comes Up Short

Chester-Joplin-Inverness lost against Belt on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hawks lost 3-0 to the Huskies. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Leading Belt to victory were Destinee Goodman and Maren Keaster. Goodman had 12 digs and two assists, while Keaster had nine digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Keaster a new career-high.

Chester-Joplin-Inverness' loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Belt, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-6.

As of now, neither Chester-Joplin-Inverness nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
