Basketball Recap: Delran Piles Up the Points Against Riverside

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Delran). They breezed by the Riverside Rams to the tune of 77-29 on Tuesday. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Rams are ranked 391st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Delran has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Riverside, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Delran has already played their next game, a 62-49 victory against Florence Township Memorial on the 23rd. Riverside has also already played their next contest (against Willingboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
