Meanwhile, Arapahoe beat Paxton 2-0 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.
Arapahoe's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: keeping Paxton to exactly 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18.
Arapahoe found their leader in underclassman Suttyn Shafer, who had 11 digs.
Axtell's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Arapahoe, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.
