Heritage waltzed into their contest on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They claimed a resounding 75-41 win over the Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 287th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Heritage pushed their record up to 21-3 with the victory, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Carman-Ainsworth, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Heritage will take on Rockford in a tournament on Monday. Heritage has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Carman-Ainsworth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
