Basketball Recap: Leland Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Leland took on Somonauk on Thursday. The Leland Panthers lost 60-39 to the Somonauk Bobcats. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Leland's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Somonauk, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 10-14.

Leland will head out to take on Christian Life at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Somonauk, they and Earlville will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
