Soccer Game Preview: Norte Vista vs. Rubidoux

The Norte Vista Braves will face off against the Rubidoux Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Norte Vista's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Rubidoux has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

Norte Vista's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Ramona. The result kept the Braves happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 9, 2024.

Meanwhile, Rubidoux fell victim to Patriot and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 933rd, while the Warriors are ranked 320th).

Rubidoux's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Norte Vista, they now have a winning record of 4-3-4.

Norte Vista took their win against Rubidoux in their previous matchup back in March of 2021 by a conclusive 6-1. Will Norte Vista repeat their success, or does Rubidoux have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
