Basketball Recap: Pinewood Christian Comes Up Short

Pinewood Christian lost against Bulloch Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pinewood Christian Patriots were beaten by the Bulloch Academy Gators 71-43. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Pinewood Christian still got an impressive performance from Banks Hearn, who posted 24 points. That was a full 55.8% of Pinewood Christian's points, marking the 14th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Kinlaw, who put up nine points.

Pinewood Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Bulloch Academy, they moved to 5-8 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Pinewood Christian will venture away from home to square off against Robert Toombs Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bulloch Academy, they will welcome Frederica Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
