Baseball Game Preview: Keystone Heights Indians vs. St. Joseph Academy Flashes

The Keystone Heights Indians will challenge the St. Joseph Academy Flashes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

After dropping their season opener at home, St. Joseph Academy is headed out to face a Indians squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Keystone Heights fell just short of Clay by a score of 8-6 on Tuesday.

Guage Barry put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Barry was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Andrew Wilson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on Fletcher with a sharp 9-2 victory on Saturday.

Carlos Willis was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he also racked up two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Eli Robshaw, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
